Imaging and Interventional Radiology
Diagnostic imaging has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few decades especially with the advent of non-invasive CT
angiography and newer pulse sequences in MRI. True to its commitment to bring world class facilities at affordable price for
the people of Eastern region, Devan hospital has upgraded the diagnostic facilities and introduced Interventional Radiology
to diagnose Neurological, Gastrointestinal & Urological problems. A glimpse of facilities and procedures available, are listed
below.
EASTERN INDIA’S FIRST WIDE BORE ADAPTIVE CT SCANNER (64 SLICES) WITH SINGOVIA TECHNOLOGY
- All types of CT angiographies including coronary, peripheral, cerebral, renal, visceral, pulmonary and others
- Triple phase CT scan of upper abdomen with volumetry for liver
- Evaluation of renal donors, CT urography
- CT enteroclysis
- Outstanding 3D reconstruction of bones, soft tissue etc.
- Beside all regular scans including HRCT’s of lung, internal ear etc.
18 CHANNEL WIDEBORE 1.5T MRI SCANNER (Avanto) WITH TIM TECHNOLOGY
- MR spectroscopy for brain, prostate
- Diffusion for Whole body and spine
- DTI for white matter tracts
- MRI for brachial plexsus, fistula-in-ano
- Contrast enhanced MR angiography
- MRI for internal ear
- Besides all regular scans of brain, abdomen, MRCP, Prostate and other organs
Interventional Radiology
Interventional Radiology services in its full flavor started after a long hiatus in the institute which had the
distinction of starting neurovascular intervention. We have Eastern India’s first flat panel cathlab with DSA and roadmap
facilities for all neuro, body and other interventions
