Hospital Administration

The Post Graduate Institute of Hospital Administration started functioning from December 2006 as a unit of Foundation within the Devan Hospital campus.

This was the first Institute affiliated by the West Bengal University of Technology (Presently, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal) to conduct a two years full time Post Graduate Masters Degree course in Hospital Management in Eastern India.

Considering the need to cover the Bachelor level for Hospital Administration, the Institute has started BBM(H) in Hospital Management since 2015.

BBM(H): Direct admission after 10+2
MHA: Students with three years’ graduation can seek admission through JEMAT / MAT

• Since it is a hospital oriented course the hands-on training is imparted within the Hospital premises itself where the college is situated.
• Classroom, Library, Exam hall, Seminar hall all are air-conditioned.
• An opportunity to be in touch with regular health care activities.
• Library is equipped with sufficient number of text, referral books and National & International journals.
• Access to internet facility.
• Meritorious students from this Institute have been awarded Gold, Silver & Bronze medals.
